That's a terrific review by the way...

Laffed at least twice... there's summat about that dead-pan delivery and the contrast with the glittering images.  

The Frank Dobson 'Venus' is brilliant - I wanted to lay hands on it immediately I saw it, which is usually a good sign.

I quite liked the whie-glazed piece on the video-walk-through (2.40 - 2.50 ish) too. No photo/caption tho, and bein as how I know the square root of fuck-all about art... I'd need some extra info.  

The Arcadia Works building is totally stunning - really want to pay it a visit now.   

I doubt that Stevo and I will have time to see any sights on our up-coming trip to the capital, but I'll certainly consider it when, inevitably, we return, in our astrakhan coats, winkle-picker boots and black fedoras, as a couple of celebrated playwrights dripping in dosh.

Sev, I'm up for rejoining here. I often check the board to see if anyone's posted (and no doubt so do most of us), but we're lacking what might be described best as "critical mass".

Other highlights were  Brown Verticals, the 'near-miss' story, the tiles in the library and the T&C montage/story.

I agonised about including Tarquin's near miss story because it was very laddish, can't believe you liked it.

Wyndham Lewis is good, Wyndham Lewis in Leeds Art Gallery is better. It's a cool piece, A.
