Minor distraction
Ok, can't be bothered to write a quiz, so here's one question:
1 Who wrote the Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton - "Islands in the Stream" hit?
The correct poster offers a question of his own, on any subject they wish.

Re: Minor distraction
Was it "cocoa-cola" and was changed because the BBC wouldn't play it as it was advertising?
I'm not sure, so won't add a question in case it's wrong. Crown would know, he knows everything.

It's no wonder test dislikes you mo.
As test was indeed correct with his answer, he's asked me to set the next question.
3 Which double Tour De France winner died of cancer, aged 50 this week?

My week starts on a Monday glad, but I'm probably technically wrong.
Don't know the answer to either of your questions.

Mo used to be as funny as that glad, until he started telling boring, self-aggrandising stories.

He is the man who fostered football in Brazil. Despite his name, he was in fact Brazilian but of Scottish parentage.

Bing Crosby, Bill Clinton, Prince William and Jack Nicklaus all suffer(ed) from colour blindness. Bing Crosby doesn't have this affliction any more though.

But I've never heard of an English version. Some grim post-industrial dump, no doubt?

Yes, it is Rochdale....maybe a bit obscure.

Yes G, maybe a bit obscure...Imagine none of use recognising, er, Rochdale
Anyway, with garish logos like that those channels could only be from TV stations in Licker's favourite country, Australia. The land of genetic crims and irritating footballers like Scott McDonald, Harry thing and the rest.
More obscurity:
After the infamous Lagerlunda train crash of 1875 in Sweden, what did an investigation by Professor Alarik Frithiof Holmgren, a physiologist, conclude was to blame?
No googlin'

See, there's a theme here......colour blindness. 'Physiologist' was a clue, but I was looking up aspects of colour blindness the other day, for some reason.

I think Mustafa's actual surname is Attaturk, and therefore the answer is Turkey.
