Attention span, zero

Post by crownliquor on Thu Jun 17, 2010 10:59 pm

Been listening to a lot of short stories while cycling recently. They tend to be mystery ones and without fail, my mind wanders off to other things (Daria Wrebowy grrrrrrrrrr ) and I miss the denouement, very annoying. Is this what senility is like mo?

I turned 50 last weekend and not one of you cunts noticed.

Which suggests that you're all "forgetful". Very Happy

Only time I notice you is when Leonard appears to rip the cunt out of you.

Sadly that claim is contradicted by the evidence of my PMs' inbox, where all your sexual fantasies and pleas for attention are laid bare.

And it's "lenoard". I can't let you away with correctly spelling his name Very Happy

Happy belated birthday Mo, I take it my invitation to the drunken celebrations was lost in the post?

That was touching Sev.

At my age though, lime and soda would probably give me wind Very Happy

A belated happy birthday from me too, mo. Give me a shout if you're coming through to Embra during the various festivals in August and I'll buy you that soft drink on sev's behalf ........ I'm a generous sort!

Talking of festivals, I got a copy of the Bookfest prog yesterday and saw that DBC Pierre is appearing on 22 August. Somebody should tell Vern.

No danger, Licker. I'm a city boy me.

The country (and country towns) are just places to:
a. Pass through very quickly en route to another city
b. Catch the occasional fish during an infrequent weekend outing
c. Push over cyclists as they get in your way on those pesky A and B roads.

I couldn't give a fuck whether it's Stirling, Falkirk or some other godforsaken corner of central Scotland. Although admittedly Stirling has more scenery than most.

Must be somewhere smaller Mo cause crowns very shy about divulging his whereabouts, makes me think he's the only cyclist in the village

Falkirk is a metropolis compared to your one-bike town, Licker.
